I have seen it on a Toshiba after looking for hours for a stupid switch. For me, I've found that when I start having the problem if I shut the system all the way down as opposed to a reboot or sleep /hibernate when I boot MS's Virtual PC works great. Go to your start screen/menu and type CMD.2.
You may have to tap your wireless touch switch once again to enable it over hardware, BUT IT MIGHT WORK. Sorry but after figuring it out myself I'd forgotten to return to post the results.
