I had this problem about a year ago and (thanks to a posting I found that the #9 trick worked. Figure : The paper feed rollers Reinstall the rear access door. how the heck do you load it for fax purposes we can't get it to fax any other way except by scan. Update to date virus definition are a must You may be running low on system resources. If you do the cleaning, mark all optical parts that you remove so they can be reinstalled in the same alignment. Open the printer as if you are going to change a cartridge and then unplug the power.
My cartriges are fairly new and have plenty of ink. Immerse the service station in hot water to dissolve the remaining ink. Let the print mechanism dry in the sun. Worse still, they have newly released many drivers that still don't work properly.

what do you suggest??? Rotate the scanner approximately 90 degrees and it will lift off of it's rear hinges. They will resist but will release and allow the scanner to rotate upwards. Then, same game over and over again.
