My 15 y.o. Is there a fuse that I have blown? Much discussion appears above about the difficulties of getting an HP-722C to work with this OS, including the "pink" problem. Its slightly more expensive cousin, the HP-6980, fared better with a 7.4 rating, so I went with this. I got my volt-ohm meter out to be sure that the power supply was still putting out the DC and it is. The Deskjet 710c would also be a good match for the Deskjet 722c.You could also download the driver from Microsoft's Catalog Update site. no lights when you press the power switch, verify that the extenal power supply connected.

We wanted to test the black ink and you could hear the printer 'typing' but nothing showed. Please let me know if you hear of a fix or work around. What should I do? Read more Published on January 3, 2013 by D. I didn't install the driver myself. I don't know what is going on yet, but it is a sign to me that the paper manufacturer isn't providing a consistent, acid free paper.

It may be wavy because moisture has gotten into the sheets and they simply don't lay flat one against the next.While you didn't ask, a related issue for me has been I've never run across a "pink" problem that I can recall in the 9 years that I have used HP-722C's.
